Z nadejściem wiosny poczuliśmy, że trzeba uporządkować nasz ogród po zimie. Wiosenne deszcze bardzo przydały się dla zasadzonych na zimę roślin, jednak część z nich nie przetrwało ciężkich zimowych warunków. Postanowiliśmy, że uprzątniemy trochę ogród i za jakiś czas potwierdzimy, czy źle wyglądające rośliny też się obudzą, czy są już kompletnie suche.
With the approach of spring, we felt it necessary to tidy up our garden after the winter. The spring rains were very useful for the plants planted for the winter, but some of them did not survive the harsh winter conditions. We decided that we would tidy up the garden a bit and confirm in a while whether the bad-looking plants would also wake up or whether they were already completely dry.
Przy okazji okazało się, że oprócz zaplanowanych roślin, pojawiły się nowe, które wyrosły z nasion pobliskich drzew. Nie mogliśmy dopuścić do ich dalszego wzrostu - mogłoby to wpłynąć negatywnie na nasze roślinki - jednak dzieci nie chciały pozwolić, aby rośliny się zmarnowały. Postanowiły wymyślić co z nimi zrobić.
Incidentally, we found that, in addition to the planned plants, there were new ones that had grown from the seeds of nearby trees. We couldn't allow them to grow any further - it could affect our plants negatively - but the children didn't want to let the plants go to waste. They decided to figure out what to do with them.
